Service with a snarl, served up daily with a wink and a smile at Rochester's premiere indie coffeehouse. Inspiration came from the pedestrian walking sign that sat out front. One late night, while dancing around with the vacuum cleaner, the pedestrian sign seemed to be
calling out to be more visually connected with the establishment. So I ran out there, slapped up a coffee mug made from gaffer's tape to his hand, and at 1:13 a.m., an icon was born.
The idea of pin-up shots came from the desire to do a calendar and postcards of all of the "Javettes" in Vargas-style pin-up poses, each of our own choosing. Sadly, funding was lost and the project never completed.
